In 7 years, we expect to invest just over $6,000 enabling her to earn $45,450, three times the poverty limit.

The Pearl Club provides comprehensive ongoing enrichment, support and mentorship to our members. We start with our young women in the 10th grade and build a foundation for their collegiate success through college graduation.  Our sisterhood focuses empowering young women to overcome the crossroads of poverty by emphasizing skill building, workplace readiness, goal setting, academic planning and enrichment and career planning. For all of our members, we have a goal that they will overcome poverty, earn a college degree and enter the workforce as a young professional with earning potential.

100 percent of our young women enroll in college directly from high school and successfully complete their first year of college!

I was ready to quit and drop out in my first semester of college. I was overwhelmed. I was stressed. I needed help. I’m so glad The Pearl Club has my back. Thanks for pushing me to work harder and stay focused. We worked together to help me create a system to stay organized, manage my life and deal with my stress better. Thank you!

The help from The Pearl Club reminded me that I always have someone in my corner. I have been pushed to try things and achieve things I was unsure of doing. They helped me get to college and find a way when one wasn’t present for me. Because of this, I’m majoring in a major that I love and getting an education in a place I didn’t think I would be getting one. You’ve helped me sooooo much. I’m beyond grateful for all that you’ve done for me this year.
